A tiny chunky portrait of one of my favorite gouache colors. One inch disco ball for scale!

I think of these little panels as “paint chips.” They are fun little studies of ideas I am working out, color tests for larger paintings, and other experiments — they’ve got the relaxed energy of a sketchbook with the great texture of a canvas. They are lightweight, about 1/8” thick, unvarnished, and quite possibly a little smudgy.
